Dayri dates are a very dry, chewy date. They have a delicious complex taste with a hint of cherry and plumb. They are the best tasting date for recipes  with chocolate. They make amazing peach pie without sugar, just replace the sugar with Dayri dates chopped into small pieces or soak in peach juice then blend.
They store well for emergency supplies. Dayri dates store in a cupboard for months without refrigeration but will get dryer and harder with time. They will last 2 years with refrigeration and many years in the freezer.
We grow these ourselves in our small date garden in Indio CA Coachella Valley the best date growing area in the world.
